legislation at the end of this week. We must ask members of
Congress to address the needs of cancer patients and survivors
by passing the health reform legislation. Over 1.4 million Americans will be diagnosed with cancer this
year. Each of these individuals will have to navigate the health
care system at a time when they are most vulnerable. Some,
unfortunately, will be more successful than others. We have to act fast. I just sent a quick email to my members of Congress, reiterating
the need for a health care bill that ends insurance
discrimination based on pre-existing conditions, ensures cancer
screening is widely available, and limits out-of-pocket medical
