Dear Friends, When Jessica Sharp heard the news that the US Supreme Court had just swept away longstanding precedent barring corporate spending in our elections, she stood up. She went to Free Speech For People, she called friends and neighbors, and she organized a rally outside the state capitol in Annapolis, Maryland. People came out in the cold and rain to stand up for democracy. WATCH IT HERE: As Jessica says, she is not a politician. She has never organized a rally before now. But she's a mother who refuses to accept that her two year-old daughter will grow up in America where "we the people" no longer count. Help Jessica spread the word.
